Omnisamor

I was reading through some of the devotionals I missed in the CQ devotional today, and I came across an unfamiliar word OMNISAMOR....lol at first glance I thought it was referring to a dinosaur (only I would make such a connection lol)...well the word OMNISAMOR is not really an English word, it doesn't exist in the dictionary, but the writers of that particular devotional created a cleaver adjective to describe one of God's most prominent attributes: LOVE. OMNI: meaning ALL..AMOR meaning LOVE.. OMNISAMOR=ALL LOVING, which I believe is a fully accurate description of God. I can't even fathom God's love sometimes, just recently I understood the whole concept of God's love towards sinners. If u think about it Jesus even died for such villainous historical figures such as Hitler. Romans 5:8 states "But God commendeth love towards us that while we were sinners, Christ died for us". Isn't that remarkable. He died even before Hitler's reign of terror in WW1. He has forgiven us and loved us even way before our existence. HIS LOVE IS UNFATHOMABLE. We can't even comprehend sometimes the blessings we have been given because of guilt and sin, but God loves us so much that He gives us these things. "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" (Matt 7:11).

Another point that I would like to illustrate, is that GOD'S LOVE IS INSEPARABLE. I was so touched when I read this text found in Romans 8:38,39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any creature shall SEPARATE us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." It's like that song AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH AIN'T NO VALLEY LOW ENOUGH AIN'T NO RIVER WIDE ENOUGH CAN"T KEEP ME FROM GETTING TO YOU. Nothing or no one can separate us from the Love of God. This is one of the many promises the God has inscribed.

Fellow Impact 212ers, my prayer is for you all to experience the LOVE of GOD.. and when you do...sometimes you'll just sit back , reflect and think " WOW...I really did not expect that to happen or expect to receive this blessing BUT IT IS BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THE LORD IS A OMNISAMOR GOD."
